Step 1 -Get your NMLS ID#

This is also known as your Unique Identifier, similar to your mortgage license or NMLS ID, if you will, much like your mortgage SS#.

Step2 -Complete the 20 Hour Pre Licensing Course

Before you can take your National S.A.F.E Exam, you must have your NMLS ID banked into the NMLS system. Be sure to complete the National course as well as your state courses to obtain your mortgage license.

Step 3 - Get setup to take the National S.A.F.E. Exam

Please note that you will need to achieve a 75 grade on the S.A.F.E Exam to successfully obtain your mortgage license and secure your NMLS ID.
